What to expect on the day

Auditions last between 30 minutes and 3 hours.
Round 1 is a movement call. The group is taught a short routine together so we can see musicality and movement ability. Those who are successful move on to the singing round.
Round 2 is the singing audition. Those who progress stay on and perform a 1 minute section of any song of their choice, prepared at home before the day, sung a cappella.
Round 3 is show choreography. Those successful in the singing round stay on to learn a section of choreography from the show alongside current BTA members, so the creative team can see how they work within the company and pick up show choreography. This round finishes at 8.30pm.
Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in, with jazz shoes or trainers.
