Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

About the show

Joseph is his father's favourite, and his eleven brothers have had enough. Sold into slavery and thrown into prison, he rises to become Pharaoh's right-hand man, then faces the brothers who betrayed him. Pop, country, calypso and rock and roll all get a turn, and the Narrator and large chorus are on stage nearly the whole time. A perfect first show and a brilliant one to come back to.

What to expect on the day

• Auditions last between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
• Round 1 is a movement call. The group is taught a short routine together so we can see musicality and movement ability. Those who are successful move on to the singing round.
• Round 2 is the singing audition: a 1 minute section of any song of their choice, prepared at home before the day.
• Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in, with trainers or soft shoes.
